Chapter Chapter 4 in Agile Software Development Teams, 2016, pp 65-86 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The previous chapter introduced the theoretical research model of this study to be tested with data from professional software development teams. This chapter explains the data collection process and methodology for analysis of the study results in the following chapters. Section 4.1 introduces the given research context; Sect. 4.2 describes the survey study design with three role-specific questionnaires for developers and the teams’ Scrum Masters, and the respective Product Owners. An overview of the measurement instrument for all latent variables in the research model is given in Sect. 4.3. Finally, two statistical techniques - both used to analyze the collected data and to test the research hypotheses - are introduced and briefly discussed in Sect. 4.4.
