A chapter in Business Model Innovation in the Era of the Internet of Things, 2019, pp 233-241 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter summarizes the findings of the two core research questions provided in the introduction: first, describing how business model innovation may be systematically pursued in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT) and second, what role several types of evaluation tools and methodologies may cover within a firm’s endeavor to innovate business models. The studies presented in this book have a primary focus on the activities of incumbents in manufacturing physical goods.
