Chapter Chapter 1 in Integration of Project, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Risk Management, 2025, pp 1-12 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The chapter describes the implications on risk management of the expanding presence of new technology, along with new applications of existing technology. It synopsizes the distinguishing features of risk analysis methodologies and risk management processes that are pertinent to large high-tech organizations; relates the foundational attributes of integrated risk management to key risk leadership principles; and introduces relevant risk management activity domains that contribute to integrated risk management (i.e., the program/project, institutional/infrastructure, and enterprise domains). It concludes by examining the integration of internal controls, risk management, and governance within a risk leadership paradigm.
