Abstract: Abstract The example demonstrates the importance of accounting for risk scenario dependencies during risk aggregation and suggests means for doing so. The specific means include developing logic diagrams (such as fault trees), applying Boolean algebra in a manner that accounts for dependencies, and using common cause methodology in an appropriate manner.
