Abstract:
Abstract The example demonstrates how the methods developed earlier can be utilized to determine uncertainty distributions for key milestones, and how these results can assist executive management in assessing schedule-induced risks to achieving its objectives. The chapter describes how Monte Carlo simulations can be conducted to evaluate the key milestone slippage risks, how related performance measures at the objectives level can be correspondingly defined and evaluated, how experts’ and stakeholders’ opinions can be elicited and utilized in the process, and how this information can be assembled to calculate schedule risk undesirability scores that can be displayed on spider charts.
