Abstract: Abstract Professor Robert Baade made a very successful career out of pursuing his academic passions in areas where he most desired to make a contribution: regional and international economics, sports, income inequality, and policy, among others. And his career, while both active and time-consuming, also allowed him to enjoy a personal life with his family and friends that brought balance and energy to everything Rob pursued.
