Chapter Chapter 10 in Sport Tourism, Island Territories and Sustainable Development, 2024, pp 159-169 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter deals with two German islands. One of them is in the North Sea, the other in the Baltic Sea. Both islands have a long and extensive tradition in tourism. It becomes clear in the chapter that both destinations focus strongly on sustainability and have, in part, been creating offers for both holidaymakers and locals for a long time in order to achieve sustainability goals.
