A chapter in Principles and Paradoxes of Sports Economics, 2024, pp 189-199 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract When I was invited to participate in a symposium in honor of Rodney Fort, I immediately accepted. Rodney Fort is one of the sports economists who has most influenced my academic career as a researcher and professor. Since the 2013–2014 academic year, I have taught the course Economics of Culture and Sport at the University of Oviedo. I thank Stefan Szymanski for the invitation and the opportunity to write a chapter in the tribute book.
