Chapter Chapter 11 in The Value of Sport, 2026, pp 181-185 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter provides an overarching synthesis of the book’s findings on the economic, social, health, educational, and societal value of sport in Germany. It brings together the key empirical results from all preceding chapters, highlighting both tangible and intangible effects, as well as the conditions under which these effects occur. In doing so, the chapter offers a structured, evidence-based overview that supports informed decision-making in sports policy, funding, and strategic development.
