Abstract: Abstract France is a unitary constitutional republic which has a parliamentary system with a semi-presidential tendency. Historically, the country has defended democratic, non-religious and republican values. Its motto Liberté, égalité, fraternité means Liberty, equality and fraternity. The capital of France is Paris, French being the official language with the euro as its currency.
