Chapter Chapter 6 in Mastering Technology Transfer: From Invention to Innovation, 2023, pp 43-50 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract I hope it has become clear that the successful transformation of your idea to a valuable innovation is dependent on you obtaining the right information and making the right decisions, in particular at the three Critical Milestones. Each stage you’ll have to go through is important and each requires its own decisions, but at the Critical Milestones, your work will have to be assessed critically before you go any further. The systematic process presented here will ensure that you’ll have all the resources to take these decisions with a maximum chance of success.
