A chapter in Entrepreneurial Education in a Global and Digital World, 2026, pp 183-199 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This book chapter seeks to convey the significance of the shift in paradigm from the Scientific Management to the New Age Quantum paradigm. In this paradigm shift, individual ambidextrous learning is viewed as being essential for the current globalised world of constant flux with a Quantum nature. The chapter also includes the objective to evidence how metaphors can be used to convey various organisational insights on constructs such as leadership, culture, and learning. Indeed, the extant literature reveals the opportunity to conduct research on this theme because this is an area with limited research. We argue the Follettian perspective of co-leadership, and within this context, we ground our study to illustrate the need for education to provide the path for learners to acquire and grow the skills of co-leadership, which is humanised, responsibly, and ethically focused.
