A chapter in Entrepreneurial Education in a Global and Digital World, 2026, pp 47-59 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This theoretical article discusses entrepreneurship education in higher education. Different perspectives, pedagogical approaches, and expected outcomes are analyzed. The study is based on a literature review, presenting three perspectives of entrepreneurship education (about, for, and through), different methodological views, and the objectives to be achieved with entrepreneurship education. The results indicate that active methodologies enhance the development of entrepreneurial competencies. Finally, the main research gaps in entrepreneurship education are identified, and directions for future research are proposed.
