Abstract: Abstract The critical importance of financial literacy has been magnified in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, highlighting its necessity for individual and societal economic stability. This chapter discusses the significant role of financial literacy in empowering individuals to make informed financial decisions and in promoting broader economic prosperity. It explores various dimensions of financial literacy, including its impact on entrepreneurs, its integration into formal education, and the creation of national strategies for financial education.
