Abstract:
Abstract The chapter considers topical issues of the modern Uanet functioning and development. The use of an extensive sociological research base allows analysis of the Uanet and its boundaries, the characteristics of the Uanet audience, the peculiarities of e-government functioning in Ukraine, the current trends of Uanet pre-war development. Particular emphasis is done on highlighting the role of Uanet use in current political communications. Uanet is rendered as a factor in activating civil society in Ukraine. The chapter also examines socio-political communications through social media in Ukraine. Based on social media data and most influential political projects, the basic tendencies in the Uanet political segment are constructed.
