Abstract:
Abstract This chapter first describes the common features of the Latin American countries reported in this booklet; next it graphically compares the GDP growth, total general government debt, unemployment rate, and consumer price inflation of the six economies during 2005–2010; and then it elaborates on the impact of the 2008 global financial crisis on each country individually.
