Chapter Chapter 4 in National Intellectual Capital and the Financial Crisis in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela, 2014, pp 63-71 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter reports activities after 2010, commonly regarded as the aftermath of the 2008 global financial crisis (Kehoe 2010). Although some European countries were still in sovereign debt troubles after 2010, such as Greece requesting another bailout in early 2012 and Spain asking for external financial assistance in June 2012, we use 2010 as a cutoff point in order to be consistent with the reports of other country clusters in this booklet series. In what follows, we first introduce the general status of the Latin American region, information regarding multiple countries, and then the condition of each individual country.
