Abstract:
Abstract Although the economic importance of entrepreneurship has been formally recognized at least since the times of Schumpeter over 100 years ago, purposeful policy efforts to harness this driver of economic growth originated substantially later. It is really during the past 30 years or so that policymakers have started to target small- and medium-sized firms and new entrepreneurs.
