Chapter Chapter 7 in Revisiting the Energy-Development Link, 2016, pp 73-82 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The fundamentally different trajectories of the Energy Intensities, as estimated by the proposed and the prevailing framework, are discussed and explanations are provided. Grouping economies according to their Energy Intensities may provide a basis for delineating those characteristics that may induce an actual decoupling and lessen the dependency of economy on energy. Challenges requiring further analysis are identified.
