Abstract:
Abstract What kind of international structure could properly regulate the whole of the international financial grid? We analyze whether and how such a proper banking institution might be an international central bank which regulates national central banks. Then we compare this ideal model to the present reality of the European Central Bank and the Bank of International Settlements.
