Chapter Chapter 4 in The Socioeconomic Evolution of the European Union, 2016, pp 67-123 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The framing of the electronic frontier from the previous chapter is shaped by globalization, new ICT tools, and the Internet and their influence on the society and economy. The definition of the electronic frontier was based on the emphasis on frontier metamorphosis and on the presentation of the socioeconomic evolution of the Union, which would warrant this metamorphosis of frontiers into the digital age.
