Regional Dimensions of Mobility
Rajarshi Majumder
A chapter in Intergenerational Mobility, 2013, pp 45-59 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract One of the main features of a large country like India is its diversity in geography, culture, social structure and dynamics. All these diversities are reflected in regional disparities in socioeconomic pattern, including intergenerational mobility. We therefore explore the regional dimensions of mobility in India in this section.
