Chapter Chapter 1 in Tax Morale and Tax Resistance, 2022, pp 1-1 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This book provides background information and basic descriptive statistics from our Internet surveys in Japan. The surveys were implemented in August 2019 and July 2020 as parts of a project supported by a Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research. These two surveys address important topics on tax and fiscal policies, such as tax morale and tax compliance, opinions on the Japanese consumption tax hike in October 2019, and the effects of debt accumulation on consumption, etc.
