Abstract: Abstract The decision-making process can address the evaluation of an individual project or the comparison of multiple alternative projects. The first case examines the economic, financial and other impacts of carrying out a particular project. In the second case, the decision-making process is intended to help choose the best among different possible solutions whose economic or financial impacts have been previously determined. This chapter focuses on the activities relating to project evaluation and comparison. Economic and financial analysis techniques used in project evaluation such as Cost-Benefit analysis and Cost-Revenue analysis as well as Multi-Criteria analysis methods for the comparison of alternative projects are described in detail.
