A chapter in Nonlinear Analysis and Global Optimization, 2021, pp 427-443 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract A method for constructing solutions to boundary value problems for a class of second-order nonlinear difference equations with variable coefficients together with multipoint conditions is presented. The technique is based on the decomposition of the nonlinear difference equation into linear components of the same or lower order and the factorization of the associated second-order linear difference operators. The efficiency of the procedure is demonstrated by considering several examples.
