A chapter in New Trends and Challenges in Optimization Theory Applied to Space Engineering, 2025, pp 51-55 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Satellite constellations are currently used for a variety of practical purposes, i.e., telecommunications (including high-speed internet services), weather forecast, Earth observation, and navigation. Coverage analysis represents the first step for the definition of a constellation configuration and is closely related to the onboard technology, which is designed in relation to the specific operational requirements and objectives.
