Chapter Chapter 9 in Resilient Controls for Ordering Uncertain Prospects, 2014, pp 177-203 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Another important challenges for networked control include the long-standing issues of time delays and control rate constraints. The chapter emphasizes some aspects of algorithms, systems and architectures relating to the resilient control systems and advanced concepts for ordering uncertain prospects associated with the linear-quadratic class of stochastic systems. Specifically, the research on the admissible set of state-estimate based control laws considered makes efficient use of all the available information about asymmetry or skewness in the chi-squared distribution functions for performance uncertainty and the ordering rule of a finite linear combination of all the statistical measures of risks for stochastic dominance. Of particular interest is the development of control algorithms that employs the responsive rule of ordering stochastic dominance and thereby providing an output feedback strategy with performance risk aversion.
