Abstract:
Abstract In two previous papers we deduced the asymptotic models for fully anisotropic inhomogeneous linear elastic thin-walled beams within the general framework of Γ-convergence. Here we establish a bridge between those mathematical results and their implementation to real problems. In particular, we determine the relationship between the energy densities and the stresses of the asymptotic models with those of the real problem under study.
