Chapter Chapter 6 in Optimal Control of Switched Systems Arising in Fermentation Processes, 2014, pp 77-87 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this chapter, we propose a switched autonomous system to model constantly fed-batch fermentation. Taking the switching instants as the control function, we present an optimal control model. A computational approach to seek the optimal switching instants is developed.
