Abstract:
Abstract The kernel functions in fractional derivatives can be singular or non-singular. The most well-known fractional derivatives equipped with non-singular kernels are Atangana-Baleanu derivative and Caputo-Fabrizio derivative. In this chapter, we consider numerical solution of fractional optimal control problems with Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo derivatives. We propose a discretization scheme to convert the fractional optimal control problem into a sequence of discretized problems. The gradient optimization technique is presented to solve the resulting problem. Numerical results obtained by solving three non-trivial examples have been provided to verify the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
