Finite Element Analysis of a Nonlinear Elliptic Problem with a Pure Radiation Condition

Michael Křížek, Liping Liu and Pekka Neittaanmäki

A chapter in Applied Nonlinear Analysis, 2002, pp 271-280 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We deal with a second order elliptic problem in a bounded plane domain with a pure Stefan-Boltzmann condition on the whole boundary. We prove that the finite element method converges in the H1-norm without any additional smoothness assumptions on the true solution.
