Abstract:
Abstract This is a competing species model. There are four critical points in the first quadrant at O = (0, 0), P = (0, 3), Q = (2, 0), and R = (1, 1). The point O is an unstable node, P and Q are both stable nodes, and R is a saddle point. There is mutual exclusion and one of the species will become extinct depending on the initial populations.
