Chapter 8 in Integral Methods in Science and Engineering, Volume 1, 2010, pp 75-84 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Many heterogeneous structural materials have a complex or irregular geometry which is not easy to model using classical geometry. Fractal geometry gives a way to model irregularities in a wide range of scientific and engineering domains. In this chapter, we are interested in the relaxation of some perturbed elastic problems, where the perturbations are localized along fractal zones.
