Chapter Chapter 4 in The Nonlinear Limit-Point/Limit-Circle Problem, 2004, pp 59-71 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In the introduction to Chapter 3, we made reference to some papers that give sufficient conditions for the existence of limit-point solutions to nonlinear equations. In this chapter, we will describe some of these results and relate them to the work of Dunford and Schwartz as well as to our results in Chapter 3. In the first section, we discuss an important, and one of the earliest, results of this type. It was obtained by Wintner [115] for linear equations.
