Chapter Chapter 6 in New Foundations in Mathematics, 2013, pp 95-105 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We give a rather conventional treatment of the study of a system of linear equations by using the augmented matrix of the system. The so-called LU decomposition of a matrix is introduced, together with the concept of elementary row and column operations and their corresponding matrices.
