Abstract Joan Miller is Director of Parliamentary ICT (Information, Communication, and Technology) for the United Kingdom Parliament and sits on the management boards of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. She was recruited to set up a new department in 2005, centralizing nine separate ICT offices to create a new and more strategic ICT function for the UK Parliament.
