Abstract: Abstract Barbara J. Beck is chief executive officer of the Learning Care Group, the second- largest for-profit early childhood education company in the United States. The Learning Care Group has five brands and 1,050 schools serving children aged six weeks to twelve years in thirty-six states and three international countries. Ms. Beck has held this position since March 2011.
