Chapter Chapter 13 in No-Drama Project Management, 2011, pp 187-204 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The way the project manager structures a team is perhaps the single most important factor in determining how the team will function going forward. Do you want a balance of skills and expertise, or do you want to make the team heavy in one aspect? How much interaction with the customer or business owner do you want the team to have? Do you expect that members of the team to work together constantly, or only at the edges? These decisions and many more largely determine what kind of project you run and how it operates.
