Managing Liquidity
David Feinleib
Chapter Chapter 11 in Why Startups Fail, 2012, pp 153-163 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Inexperienced sellers leave money on the table all the time. One investor I know once told me, “We’re going to get the vacuum cleaner out and suck all the money off the table. Then, we’re going to stick that vacuum into their pockets and make sure we’ve got every last cent.” Needless to say, his words left a lasting impression. Although you may not come from the Vacuum Cleaner Investor school of deals, there’s no reason not to get paid for your work.
