Abstract: Abstract One investor I know repeats the same refrain to every startup he works with: focus wins. The advice is as sound today as when he first gave it to me, along with a check, ten years ago. That’s because without focus, it’s impossible to lead, allocate resources, or define what winning means. Without focus, a company can’t grow. Are your resources spread too thin? What do you do if you’ve lost focus? When should you hit the accelerator? How do the most successful companies execute at scale?
