Abstract All this praise of common sense may be leading you to think of it as an intellectual cure-all. As critical as common sense is to a well-functioning intellect, let’s be careful not to paint it as the all-inclusive trait. Common sense has its limitations and is ripe for misuse. In the words of ancient mapmakers, Here there be dragons.
