Advice from a Real Estate Agent

Chris Lauer

Chapter Chapter 5 in Underwater, 2013, pp 47-62 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Experienced real estate agents have been on the front lines of the real estate industry through the good times and the bad. None were left unscathed when the real estate bubble burst. Those who made it through understand the intrinsic and extrinsic values of a home. Working during the days of plummeting prices, and with worried banks and frightened consumers, the world of the real estate agent was rocked to its core. Although the recovery is slow, many agents continue to work with bankers, lawyers, brokers, homeowners, contractors, and others in the industry, which gives them a broad perspective on the field. Don’t take their advice lightly.
