Planning Guide for Special-Needs Children
Deirdre R. Wheatley-Liss
Chapter Chapter 21 in Plan Your Own Estate, 2013, pp 265-270 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract What if your child or grandchild has developmental challenges that will, or may, prevent them from being an independent adult? They could even be dependent on public resources for their care and living arrangements. A poorly planned, or unplanned, inheritance can disqualify vulnerable beneficiaries from the benefits they rely on to live. When one beneficiary may have more needs than another, how can you balance their different situations?
