Abstract I was once asked the following question: “if you could press a button and instantly vaporize one sector of employment law, which would it be?” my answer, without a moment’s hestitation, was the fair labor standards Act (FLSA)-he federal law that governs how many hours employees work and how employers pay them for those hours.
