Abstract: Abstract Jonathan Schleifer is the first executive director of Educators 4 Excellence’s New York chapter. E4E was founded in 2010 by two Bronx public school teachers. Its mission is to “work to ensure that the voices of classroom teachers are included in the decisions that affect our profession and our students.” E4E’s members are teachers who learn, network, and take action around public policies to elevate the teaching profession and student performance.
