Chapter Chapter 11 in When to Hire—or Not Hire—a Consultant, 2013, pp 247-254 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This appendix is a sample request for proposals (RFP), which you can adapt to create a document that consultants will then use to create their proposals. It is not meant to be a one-size-fits-all document. Rather, it outlines some basic considerations for an RFP. Specific industries may require more or different language in any of the following sections. If your procurement staff is not familiar with an RFP, you should reach out to an expert for legal and procedural advice. Have your attorney review the RFP prior to releasing it.
