The Myth of Absolute Power
Christopher Duncan
Chapter Chapter 1 in UNITE THE TRIBES, 2013, pp 1-13 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The world is shaped by leaders. This is just as true for business as it is for the fate of nations. The products, services, and entertainment that we enjoy in our daily lives existed first in the minds of women and men who knew how to transform an idea into tangible reality. Some were dreamers, others hard-nosed and practical, but in each case they understood what it takes to achieve success. Even in a democracy, without strong leadership you’ll soon find your organization in complete chaos. As you might imagine, that’s not the most effective of states.
