Chapter Chapter 4 in UNITE THE TRIBES, 2013, pp 51-67 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Nobody wants to look for a new job every year. Even if you’re a serial entrepreneur, you don’t start a new venture with the intention of going out of business. Of course, it’s an inconvenient truth that businesses die on a regular basis. They also have a particularly annoying habit of killing your job in the process. Because of this, you might think that people would always be looking to the future in order to protect their interests. You might also believe in the Easter Bunny. Of the two, you have a much better chance of finding brightly colored eggs in your backyard. People are neither rational nor sensible when it comes to their day-to-day behavior.
