Additional Tools and VBA for Financial Models

Jack Avon

Chapter Chapter 18 in The Handbook of Financial Modeling, 2013, pp 423-443 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Microsoft Excel is the modeler’s tool of choice for building models, and fortunately for modelers, Excel has an extensive list of additional tools and services that can be attached or used in conjunction. In this chapter, I will briefly describe some of these additional tools that have a modeling impact. However, I am also going to give a more detailed view of a select group of tools that I consider not only helpful but also essential to the financial modeler.
