Abstract Companies introducing, applying, and living TrueSRM will undergo fundamental changes. These changes will be necessary to stay competitive in the market. Similar to the introduction of category management over the past two decades, TrueSRM will separate the leaders from the laggards. Done right, it will help companies to leverage suppliers and harness the energy that is out there in the supplier market. The changes associated with the introduction will be felt:
